What i find stupid is that all my character beside my ranger have the Ithas Bow.
I made a ranger especialy for the bow.. but i can't even have it >_< And of course i cannot give my monk's bow to ranger since it's customized for that character.

I think they should fix it.
One of my guildmate had 2 hammer on each his character.. my other friend had none preorder item on any character and it seem lot of people are having same problem.

was your ranger the 1st charac or was it created later on...i think it was their timing to try to fix things that mixed things up. i had all 4 characs w/ the item b4(@full release) and i only started to lose the items on characs that ive recreated recently. im sure it was a prob for some ppl but not eveeryone at that time, but they must have done a worldwide wipe of it or similar to that effect, to affect eveyrone at once as a whole.

Yeah, I am missing my Ithas bow on my characters, only 1 of my characters has the bow, and its not a Ranger

Hopefully they fix it soon. Other than this, the game is incredible.

its in-game. download the update and then do /preorder. at least, it worked for me.

Really too bad. Here I am sitting on pins and needles wondering when they are going to implement the /retrieve command so I can get back my Ithas Bow, and then I tried your solution and it worked perfectly. I'm beginning to think some people in Support have no idea what the hell they are talking about...

Well, they had just implemented in it when i post that, but they still haven't said ANYTHING about it in the knowledge base, which worries me...

I live in the US and examined all the items and attributes as best I could through playtesting through BWE and weekend events and determines the Chimeric prism to be the best overall fit for my playstyle. (It would benefit, or not be missed, by all my characters to come)

I went out of my way to pre-order the Collecter's Edition Uk/Euro version, paid the equivalent of 89.99 USD in addition to extra shipping charges and insurance because i thought the item would be useful (not uber, just convenient) because of the +1 to primary assisting most of my future chars. This cost be approx $140 USD all together. It's still enroute to me and the purchase cannot be canceled.

This change has effectively ruined the intended bonus I had hoped to receive as well as wasting a fair amount of money. I could have purchased the Collecter's edition at Compu USA on the 27 or 28th for 69.99. I basicly paid double for what is now not even a worthwhile bonus.

I am extremely upset and feel put out and essentially mislead and hope that some personal apology or customer service mojo is extended very soon.

There was *no* information from ArenaNet about the exact bonus of the pre-order items. For the Charismic Prism all that was stated was that it depends on the primary attribute of the profession. Which it does.

A few people *speculated* that it might be a +1 to the primary attribute, while most others felt that would unbalance the game and would never be permitted. The consensus was that we would just have to wait and see.

If you bought the European or any other pre-order based on unfounded speculation, you have nobody but yourself to blame.

The eurpean item still looks like a worthwhile purchase. You get a good bonus from it when you reach the right levels. From my play thus far, the pre-order items are balanced for the mid-levels.

the problem with the pre-order items is that they are rather useless in the beginning(requiring high attributes) and by the time you can use them to their full potential you're likely to have found better items or at least ones with similar power...

While I went to look up the pages that I had read the info on items from, it seems the content has changed and I am redirected. Some of the info came from the retailer's themselves, the other info was on guildwars.com. You're missing the point though. Even if you want to persist and argue a speculative purchase --- the fact is they did offer an item with more broad appeal to the euro-market. That item has been changed at the last moment and become realtively worthless, at least in my eyes. I wasn't buying euro to try to get something uber, just to have a more rounded option for the variety of characters that would be tested and played. All gameplay and balance issues aside, for those that did go out of their way to support the preorder, some kind of recognition would be considerate act of customer service.

- 3 Energy (8+ Divine Favor)
- 7 Energy (8+ Energy Storage)
- 7 Energy (8+ Soul reaping)
- 7 energy (8+ Fast Casting)
- 8 Armor (8+ Divine Favor)
- 16 Al (8+ Strenght)
- 10 Al (8+ expertise)

and it's not like the official:

Euro Focus - 5 Base Energy (if equipped without attribute)

- 10 Energy (8+ Divine Favor)
- 12 Energy (8+ Energy Storage)

I think you've misunderstood. "Base Energy" is slightly bad wording: the 5 energy doesn't stack with the upgrades you get with increased attributes. In other words, say you had 8 Energy Storage, you'd get 12 energy in total, not 17 energy. If you look at it this way, you'll see that your Chimeric Prism is the same as what Gaile Gray said.

This is definitely a good thing, because a 17 energy focus only available to those who preordered in Europe would be imbalanced.

oh ok , i think you're right...
...but
for a Ele/Necro/Mesmer this a "+12 energy only" focus without extra bonus.
Who will use it ? no one O_O
Maybe with a +health bonus or a +armor bonus...
Or maybe if it can become "visible on hand" in cities etc...
